Membership Date Definitions

Join date: Immediate upon receipt of payment.

Membership term start date: The first day of the next month based on the join date.

Expiration date: One year from the start date; always falls on the last day of the month.

Grace Period: 31 days after the expiration date. Membership remains current throughout the grace period.

Retired from practice? Choose the last place of employment.
Working outside of the U.S.? Choose OSHNA: DoDEA or International School to join NASN and OSHNA.
The Quarterly Installments billing option includes a $5 processing fee spread over four installments AND quarterly installments are subject to auto pay every three months indefinitely unless NASN is notified to terminate the membership.
When choosing Quarterly Installments OR the Automatic Renewal Option for Annual Billing, you must leave the AUTO PAY check box checked. You will see the AUTO PAY check box where you enter your payment method.

Dues payments are not deductible as a charitable contribution under the Internal Revenue Code, but may be deductible under other provisions of the Code for Federal Income Tax purposes. Dues payments may be deductible by members as an ordinary and necessary business expense.
