Description of Position:

Camp Walt Whitman, a traditional children’s summer camp located in NH, is seeking a registered nurse to work from June 18-August 16, 2008.

Applicants must have a current nurse’s license.  Camp Walt Whitman will help you register in State of New Hampshire.  You will work 8-hour shifts, 6 days per week.  Your responsibilities will include:

*Assisting the on-call doctor with examination of patients
*Triage and treating campers who come to the Health Center
*Scheduling appointment and working at the front desk check-in
*Verifying health logs books
*Working with insurance companies and assuring the completion of insurance forms
*Distribution of medications
*Speaking with parents and updating them on their child
*Working one night a week as the on call nurse
*Stipend includes Salary, Travel Allowance, and Room and Board.
